FAQ ( clients )

1. Currently available to shoot portraiture (commercial or private), creative PR images, editorial, fashion, look books, covering events in journalistic style (behind the scenes of movie sets, plays, dance companies, sporting events, musical events etc), fine art, decorative art works, erotic, editorial fashion stories & more.

2. Mostly available in Las Vegas but would travel to Los Angeles  / San Diego / Phoenix and other close by cities for commissioned works.

3. I only shoot film & Polaroid/Fuji Instax but images could be delivered within 24 hours after the shoot.

4. Please feel free to contact me with your questions while including the full descriptions of your needs/wants/desires in the final images and to ask for rates.

FAQ ( regarding prints, instant images, licensing )

.

1. I do sell my prints and almost of all the images exhibited on this tumblr and other places , are available & ready for printing up to 11”x14” on a short notice. For larger sizes, there might be a need for re-scanning negatives which might take longer.

2. There are no firm set of pricing/rate for prints at the moment. Please feel free to inquire regarding any images that you might be interested in.

3. A professional photo lab handles all of my print works, and all of the prints get hand inspected by their printers as well as myself before being shipped out. The usual turn around from the time of order to shipping to you is about 8-10 working days.

4. Prints can be signed on the back at your request.

5. Most of the images are available for licensing.

6. Art/Photography/Film/Journalism/Literature/Philosophy Students receive lower rates for purchasing prints, but please be prepared to email an image of your current student ID with your request.

7. I have hold off of selling any instant images of mine so far for various reasons, but mostly because I really enjoy them personally (& couple of exhibition suggestions/requests has been made) plus each one of them is one of a kind. But As I am getting a few requests for them on a weekly basis, I feel like I have to address the matter here. I apologize if you have written to me in the past and I have not responded to you. If you are willing to pay $100 for a single Polaroid/Fuji Instax , or $180 for order of 2, $240 for order of 3 or $75/image for orders of 4 or more, please feel free to write me here. This way there is some kind of rate for it at least (there are few shots which are not for sale or have a much higher price and few which I can get apart with for lower prices… the best is just to ask me.) Thank you again for your constant interest and support.

FAQ ( models )

.

1. Please note,I do not hire models unless a client is hiring both of us.

.

2. Please also note that I do not offer free test sessions and/or for trade shoots at the moment. (no TFP at the moment unless I have offered it to you myself… but please always feel free to say hello  , as I might have a project on hand suitable for a collaboration with you .)

.

3. I offer very low rate photo sessions to the signed editorial fashion models in need of updating/starting their portfolios. Please contact me with few images, measurements and agency information.

4. I also offer low rates to nude/erotic/fetish models in need of new sets of images for their portfolio. Contact me with images and proper information please.

.

5. You don’t have to be a fashion model or an art/nude/erotic model to work with me at all, however please note (as I have mentioned above) I do not offer free tests/portfolio shoots. Contact me with your questions and include few photos and necessary information please. The rates for any type of aspiring models/actors/dancers/designers/musicians/artists are always very affordable.

6. You don’t need any prior modeling experience to work with me. I work fast and without any kind of pressure on my subjects and enjoy working with first time models as much as I enjoy working with more experienced professional models.

7. Models/Subjects, please note if/when you are booking a shoot with me ( = hiring me), we would be shooting in the style that you are comfortable with … if you just want a series of creative portraits, that’s what we’ll do and let’s say if you want to do a session in fashion-meets-fetish style, that’s the direction we would go … of course the aesthetics of shots and mood would be still in my style but we can adjust wardrobe and other elements based on your desire or you can leave it all to me to suggest you a direction based on your look.

8. Models/Subjects please do not photoshop and/or alter received images without permission. Thank you.

9. I also shoot experimental films/videos often. (usually coupled with my photo sessions at no extra charge, as long as we are shooting my concepts or we can shoot your concept for a moderate fee.)

FAQ ( Magazines / Publications / Blogs )

.

1. Please feel free to contact me at anytime, If you are a commercial/art/fashion/photography/music/editorial print or online magazine (or book publication), with specific budget for photography. I would be more than happy to discuss what I can  do & offer within your budget.

2. I have always supported new magazines and passionate people who are/were trying to start new waves in photography/art/fashion/documentary fields, however because of the current obnoxiously high rate that online magazines are popping out from every corner (without offering any fee to photographers/artists/writers), I have stopped collaborating with all of them in the recent months. If you think you are an exception, and interested in a collaboration, please feel free to write me here.

3. If you are a passionate designer/printer/editor who puts together a well designed art/photography/fashion not for profit print magazine, please feel free to contact me.

4. I happily would give interviews and a collection of images/videos to proper magazines (on line or print) as well as art/photography blogs, (as long as there is time of course.) Please feel free to ask at anytime. Thank you.

FAQ ( Photography students / enthusiasts / Photographers / Artists )

1. I do film photography because I simply enjoy it.

.

2. Cameras are just tools and you can create good images with a very wide variety of them. I use different Canon film cameras mostly (EOS family) since I own a few Canon lenses. I also shoot with various medium format cameras, however, not that often anymore.

.

3. I use any kind of films that I can get a hold of, however I have always liked Ilford products for B/W as well as Fuji PRO 160s, Kodak Ektar 100, Fujichrome Provia 100 among others for color.

.

4. I don’t need any assistants / interns at the moment but thank you very much for the interest.

.

5. Little to no digital enhancements has been done on my images… majority of effects has been achieved in camera (soft focus, motions etc) and at times (rarely) during the scanning … almost no cropping has been done to images. I am not a technical guru, & while I have nothing against technology and I actually enjoy learning very much so, in this case, there is little that you can learn from me.

6. I have not studied photography. I have degrees in Mathematics, Mechanical engineering, Computer Science & Finance and I also have studied some cinema and have been part of various art houses, photography groups & cinematic institutions. However I have been doing still photography as a hobby and later as my part time/full time job (on & off) since age 8.

7. I find my models everywhere but more likely these days, they find me.

8. Please don’t ask regarding the contact information of models/subjects if they are not already included in the tumblr posts. If they are actively looking to work with new photographers and ask me to include their information in my tumblr posts, I certainly would. If you are a licensed talent/modeling agency , please forward your full information, so I would forward them to the models whom you are interested in to discuss work opportunities.

9. Artists (and everybody else), please note that you need my permission if you are planning to draw/paint or create any kind of print/digital media such as videos/gif files/slides/digital collages etc. even if the original purpose is not commercial. And if the produced media is even remotely for a commercial use (posting on a commercial blog for example), then you have to obtain licensing for them. You need to have licensing rights to draw/paint off any photographs if you are going to sell it at any point. Please get familiar with copyright laws as well as proper etiquette for usage of other people’s intellectual properties.
